Whereas, The Board of Secord Township recognizes the need to establish for safety purposes of it's citizens and guests and in the following the Michigan Fireworks Safety Act 256 of 2011,
Whereas The board of Secord Township has the authority to enact an ordinance regulating the ignition, disharge, and use of

Whereas, The Board of Secord Township recognizes the need to establish for safety purposes of it's citizens and guests and in the following the Michigan Fireworks Safety Act 256 of 2011,
Whereas The board of Secord Township has the authority to enact an ordinance regulating the ignition, disharge, and use of consumer fireworks as stated in the act, and Whereas, the Board of Secord Township can assign police power
Therfore, be it resolved the Secord Township Board assigns the Secord Fire Chief the authority for implementation for firework and safety issues and fees and penalties as described in Michigan Fireworks Safety Act 256 of 2011.
